With 10 years of teaching European Portuguese, I’ve had the joy of working with students from over 60 countries.
I’m from Lisbon, married to my Neguinho (the most amazing Brazilian guy ever 🇧🇷❤️🇵🇹), and we speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
I created this course because I saw that it was a very specific need for all my students but also for other people who learn European Portuguese, including foreign friends of mine. And I thought I had to do something about it and this is how this online course was born.

Yes, you can. But you need to consider a few things:
The course has no grammar or vocabulary explanations because the focus is on listening comprehension. You won't understand sentences that have grammar and vocabulary you haven't learned yet. However, each example sentence will have its English translation underneath. And you can translate the sentences.
But the most important thing is that you focus on listening and being able to identify the sequence of sounds, and the sounds that change and vanish, understanding what they mean or not.
So, basic level A2 is recommended to get the most out of this course.

This means that you can watch the lessons within the course at your own pace and you can organize your study plan as best suits you, according to the time you have available per day, per week, etc. As long as you have internet access, you can watch the video lessons as often as you like, whenever you like, on your computer or cell phone.
